La Caleta in Tenerife South, will impress you with its amazing views.
Staying in La Caleta, you can also view La Gomera island on clear days when the Calima is not on the air. There is also a clear spectacular view of the Teide mountain from there. You will see lots of souvenirs shops, super markets, hotels and much more.
My family loves to go to La Caleta. It is a touristic area but quieter than Las Veronicas in Las Americas. A promenade by the sea will let you walk on site, in La Caleta, to discover the various little cafes or the big restaurants with large terraces by the sea or you can choose to keep going and head to Fañabe Area which is a bit busier. If you like walking, you can explore most of the beaches since a long promenade will guide you through.
The beach is black like most of the beaches in Tenerife. For more info about beaches click here: https://tenerifesouthguide.com/tenerife-info/beaches/
Paragliding is famous in Tenerife. You fly over Tenerife, Adeje, la Caleta. This great adventure is available for you but if you only want to participate as a viewer, being by La Caleta beach you will be able to see them land one after the other, its just amazing!
Golf Costa Adeje is located in La Caleta. For Golf lovers, there is an 18 hole Golf Club. It was designed by renowned golf architect Jose Gancedo, who used the natural features of the land (the original banana plantations) to integrate them into the course.
