Punta de Teno has one of the seven lighthouses on the entire island. Located in Buenavista Tenerife, this specific lighthouse has been active since 1897, and replaced in 1978. Hence, it is currently in service and not visitable from within. However, one must not miss the sights and walks surrounding the lighthouse.

Punta de Teno is part of a natural reserve called Teno Rural Park (Parque Rural Teno). This large park covers a few municipalities such as Buenavista del Norde, Los Silos, El Tanque, Santiago del Teide.

To reach Punta de Teno is easy; drive to Buenavista Tenerife, park your car near the bus station (la Guagua), have a barraquito coffee and maybe a tortilla in a local restaurant bar. Then, take the Guagua (bus) N. 369 (available every 25 minutes for only one euro) which is a special line that will drive you safely through breathtaking roads – eventually leading you to Destination Paradise.
