An adventure that most tourists love! Barranco del Infierno in Tenerife South is great for hiking.
The Canyon ¨Barranco del Infierno¨ got his name due to its vast depths and the strange rock formations. The hike lasts about 3h30. The Path is limited to 300 people per day to preserve and ensure the protection and species that live in it. It is definitely one of the top hikes to do in Tenerife. There are hundreds of caves with engravings that make it a very important area archaeologically. Besides, it hosts the highest waterfall on the island. Restaurant Otelo, Adeje.
This is the restaurant on the top of the hill, from where people start their hiking tour along Barranco del Infierno (Hell´s Canyon). But ist is also the place where the tour ends with a delicious fried chicken & wrinkled Canarian potatoes. This is the main specialty but it also offers very tasty plates like rabbit, lasagna among others. There is also a parking lot that belongs to the restaurant.
While you eat you can look at the Canyon you were hiking just minutes ago, so that you enjoy the food as well as the views!
